Glass paint is used to decorate transparent surfaces such as glass and plastic, and certain colors are accessible for glass. It can be used for both indoor and outdoor applications, such as table tops, glass windows, and decorative items. Unlike normal paint, it alters the glass surface to encourage permanent adherence and will not crack, fade, or peel after curing, even in high humidity conditions. When using glass paint, it is best to use only around 10% water to avoid degrading the paint. If the paint needs to be spread further, use a paint thinner formulated specifically for glass paint.
